This is applicable for the candidate enrolled in Basic Maintenance Training Organization approved as per CAR 147 (Basic).
FAQ No. 3. What is General/ Other applicant type)?
General is applicable for the candidate of organizations approved under DGCA (e.g. CAR-145, CAR-M etc.) and Others for PRIVATE & UNEMPLOYED candidates.
FAQ No. 4. What is the Computer Number?
Computer Number is a Unique Identification Number, allotted to a candidate which is used for identifying his journey through DGCA online examination and result history. A candidate is authorised to have only one computer number in AME category. The guidelines related to AME Computer Number are in AME User Manual available website on pariksha.dgca.gov.in
FAQ No. 5. What is minimum qualification required to register as an AME Candidate in PARIKSHA.DGCA?
As per CAR 66.A.15.Eligibility, the applicant should have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university or its equivalent.

All candidates, who have been allotted computer number prior to launch of Pariksha portal are OLD candidates.
FAQ No. 9. Who are called PRE 1992 Candidates?
PRE-1992 candidates are those candidates who were in the CEO, DGCA examination system before Computer Number Allotment system introduced, and might or might not have passed / licensed candidates/ BAMEC holders. These candidates to be traeted as NEW in this portal.
FAQ No. 10. Is the Indian mobile number is mandatory for candidates for registration in PARIKSHA.DGCA?
Yes, Indian mobile number is mandatory for all the candidates including foreign candidates for registration in PARIKSHA.DGCA?
FAQ No. 11. Whether two candidates can use same e-mail id/ mobile number ?
NO. Email-id & Mobile Number should be unique for each candidate.
FAQ No. 12. What are different Applicant Type?
Different Applicant types are BMTO, Trainee, General/Others & Defense.
FAQ No. 13. What is Trainee applicant type ?
This is applicable for the candidate of AME Training Institute approved as per CAR Sec 2 Series E, Part-VIII.
FAQ No. 14. What is Defence applicant type?
This is applicable for Serving or retired Defence personnel (Ex-Serviceman)/ Paramilitary Services Personnel.
FAQ No. 15. What is Board Verification Certificates (BVC)?
Board Verification Certificates certificate is provided by respective boards to certify the authenticity of Mark sheet of 10th /10+2/10+2 equivalent/Diploma.
FAQ No. 16. For which qualification Board Verification Certificates is required?
It is required for the All Indian & foreign candidate’s Mark sheet of 10th /10+2/ /Diploma/10+2 equivalent.
FAQ No. 17. Is the Board Verification Certificates is mandatory for all NEW candidates before registration in PARIKSHA.DGCA?
Yes. However, only Pre 1992 candidates are exempted if copy of License / BAMEC/ BAMEL are uploaded & attached.
FAQ No. 18. Is the Board Verification Certificates is mandatory for all OLD candidates before registration in this portal ?
NO
FAQ No. 19. Who required Association of Indian Universities (AIU) certificate?
Those Applicants who have acquired the Basic Qualification (10th, 10+2 or equivalent) from other than Council of Boards of Secondary Education, State/Central Govt. Education Board i.e. any International School / Board / University situated in India or abroad.
FAQ No. 20. Who requires Security Clearance certificates?
AME foreign candidates require Security clearance before applying for Allotment of Computer Number. (Except Nepal & Bhutan).
FAQ No. 21. Is it mandatory to have passport for applying for Computer Number?
NO, Passport is not mandatory for Indian candidates. However, all foreigner candidates (except Nepal & Bhutan) require valid passport for applying for Allotment of Computer Number. For Nepal & Bhutan candidates should have at least valid national Id proof of their country.
FAQ No. 22. After submitting of the Registration Form, within how much time the link on the registered email address can be activated?
After submitting of the Registration Form, candidate will receive link on the registered email address. The link MUST be activated within 24 hours only.
FAQ No. 23. If Link is not activated within 24 hours then how the candidate will proceed further?
Candidate needs to re-register.
FAQ No. 24. If name of Institute/ Organization is not available in drop down, then how to complete the Computer Number Allotment Applications?
If name of the organization/ institute is not available in dropdown list, candidate advised to select OTHERS and proceed for Registration. Simultaneously MUST contact Help Desk for adding Organisation/ Institute Name in master database. Application will be approved after the master list is updated.
FAQ No. 25. Can AME Institute/ BMTO candidate can fill the correspondence address ?
NO, for AME Institute/ BMTO candidates correspondence address will be auto filled after selecting name of AME Institute/ BMTO from dropdown list. However, after passing out from the institute candidates MUST change their applicant type to 'General/ Others' and update their correspondence address through 'Update Profile' after log-in.
FAQ No. 26. What precautions to be taken while uploading the photograph ?
Colored recent passport size photograph as per the details given in User Manual Para 1D.5.1 must be uploaded, otherwise application liable to be rejected.
FAQ No. 27. Is it required to send Hard Copy of Computer Number Allotment Applications of NEW/ Pre-1992 Candidates?
NO
FAQ No. 28. How to track the Computer Number Allotment Applications of NEW Candidates?
Computer Number Allotment Applications of NEW Candidates having Temp. Id. may be tracked through Candidate Login.
FAQ No. 29. After Allotment of computer number, what will be candidate login Id?
After Allotment of computer number, candidate login Id will be the Computer Number including prefix E-.
FAQ No. 30. How to check the details of previous PASS paper(s) for OLD candidates?
After successfully registering in this portal all OLD candidates are advised to MUST check their PASSED PAPER(s) [if any] through the 'Examination History' tab under 'View Detail' after logging through Candidate Login. Any ambiguity observed should be brought to the notice of CEO for necessary correction.
FAQ No. 31. To update any saved data, when candidate can access 'Update Profile' option?
Update Profile' option is accessible only after log-in through allotted Computer Number.
FAQ No. 32. If the saved data of OLD candidate found mismatched during registration, then should I continue the registration & submit the form?
YES, registration must be completed with mismatch saved data. Once successfully registered, then candidate can modify the mismatch data with the help of Profile Management link after login.
FAQ No. 33. What are the profile data can be directly updated by candidates?
Candidate can update the mobile number, email id, applicant type and correspondence address using profile management link through their login without any verification by CEO, DGCA.
FAQ No. 34. What are the profile data which required mandatory approval from CEO, DGCA after updating?
Name, Father’s/Mother's Name, DOB, Permanent Address, Photograph, Signature, Passport/Visa details etc. required prior approval from CEO, DGCA before updating in data base. Candidate should apply through their log in using 'Update Profile (verification required)' tab. Candidate must ensure that his 'APPLICANT TYPE' and 'Name of Organisation' are updated before applying for any above-mentioned updates.
FAQ No. 35. If, earlier while registering in VIMAN, I have uploaded photograph not as per specification of User Manual,then how to correct the same?
ALL candidates who had registered till date with wrong/ incorrect photograph are advised to update their photograph as per specification given in USER MANUAL immediately after successfully registering in this portal. Candidature with improper photograph will be rejected in future examinations.
FAQ No. 36. When photograph is required to be UPDATED for registered candidate ?
ALL registered candidates are advised to check through 'View Profile' the uploaded photograph first. Specially all pre-VIMAN OLD candidates MUST ensure that the uploaded photographs are of WHITE BACKGROUND and not very OLD with clear visible face [having similarity with present face] and in correct orientation. If require to be changed should follow the specification of photograph and procedure given in User Manual and apply through 'Update Profile Form ‘online.
FAQ No. 37. Is it required to update the PHOTOGRAPH time to time ?
If already updated as per the requirements given in User Manual Para 1D.5.1 then it is NOT REQUIRED.
FAQ No. 38. Is it required to update the SIGNATURE time to time ?
If already updated as per the requirements given in User Manual Para 1D.5.1 then it is NOT REQUIRED.
FAQ No. 39. When candidate can apply for examination ?
Once the Examination Session is declared open through 'Public Notice' in dgca website and in AME Notice Board of 'PARIKSHA' portal, all eligible registered candidate can apply to their desired QPREF through their log in.
FAQ No. 40. How to check the applicability of my QPREF ?
MUST refer the applicable APPENDIX given in User Manual and apply accordingly. While applying online, if any ambiguity observed in the available 'credit matrix' of the software, candidate MUST contact CEO before proceeding.
FAQ No. 41. Is it possible to get different QPREF than the applied QPREF in Admit Card?
NO, software allots QPREF only on the basis of input received through candidate's log-in. In such cases definitely while selecting from drop down menu, candidate had selected WRONG QPREF. Under no circumstances QPREF can be changed after application submission.
FAQ No. 42. My fees deducted from my account through
As per provision in the software, ALL examination applications submitted SUCCESSFULLY BEFORE THE 2400 HRS OF CLOSING DATE OF PORTAL, are received in CEO for scrutiny. After scrutiny all candidates will either receive Roll Number OR Rejection intimation. Any fees through Bharat Kosh AFTER the closing hrs., will NOT be considered under any circumstances NOR be kept in credit against the computer number. In such case candidate may apply for 'Refund of Fees' as per procedure mentioned in AME user manual chapter 4G.

Candidate can raise any query through 'Help Desk' tab.
FAQ No. 44. How to change the password?
To change password candidate should login and select Change Password.

FAQ No. 46. Can a Computer number be changed?
Computer number is a Unique Identification Number assigned by DGCA, CEO. It cannot be changed, and it stays with you throughout the course of your aviation career.
FAQ No. 47. What is the validity of computer number?
Computer number has life time validity.
FAQ No. 48. What is the minimum & maximum age to register as AME candidate in pariksha.dgca.gov.in?
Minimum age is 16 years & there is no maximum age limit to register as AME candidate in pariksha.dgca.gov.in.
FAQ No. 49. As an OLD candidate, I am unable to proceed in PARIKSHA after entering my Computer Number & DOB.
Such candidates are advised to refer AME User Manual, Para 2C.2 Note (OLD Candidates who are unable to login for registration must send a request through Email at help.pariksha.dgca@gov.in under the subject line “AME- UNABLE TO LOG IN- E-XXXXXXXX” with self-attested scanned copy of proof of computer number and date of birth certificate/ 10th Certificate as attachment for verification). It is also advised to ensure that the scan copy of D.O.B & Computer Number proof MUST be in PDF format (max-up to 100KB) and legible.
FAQ No. 50. What is the specification required to upload signature of candidates?
The size of the scanned signature image is 20mm height X 45mm width on a white background without border. The size of the scanned Signature image should not be more than 20kb.
FAQ No. 51. Can I upload photo & signature in pdf Format?
No, the photograph and Signature must be in JPEG/JPG Format only.
FAQ No. 52. Can I upload documents other than Photo & Signature in Jpeg Format?
No, all documents must be in pdf Format only.
FAQ No. 53. In which case Original BVC is required to send to CEO, DGCA?
In case, BVC is addressed to the CEO/ To Whomsoever It May Concerns”, the application will be processed based on the availability of the original BVC in CEO on the date submission of application. CEO shall not be responsible for any delay in receipt of BVC from the concerned board/candidate.
FAQ No. 54. Who requires 10+2 Equivalent certificate?
10+2 Equivalent certificate is required for those applicants who have not passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, but acquired the Basic Qualification equivalents to 10+2 from School / Board / University situated in India or abroad.
FAQ No. 55. What if candidate makes some mistake while filling the application for computer number?
Submitted application will be scrutinized by CEO and candidate will be intimated via email along with rejection reasons. In such cases, the candidate is required to re-submit the application after correcting only the specific points of rejection.
FAQ No. 56. If I forget any document to upload, can I upload it later on after Final Submission of the form?
No, after Final Submit, it is not possible.
FAQ No. 57. After PARTIAL rejection of Computer Number Allotment Applications, what is the procedure to apply again?
After PARTIAL rejection of Computer Number Allotment Applications, candidate need to login through Candidate Login and should RE-SUBMIT the application online after correcting all rejection point(s) only. In this case TEMP ID will remain same.
FAQ No. 58. Can I apply for exam, if I have submitted my application for Computer number?
Candidate can apply for exam only after issuance of Computer number.
FAQ No. 59. How many module exams I can appear in a particular session?
Candidate can apply for maximum of 5 modules in a particular session.
FAQ No. 60. Where can I check my Examination result on Pariksha Portal?
Login to your Pariksha portal and go the View Details then click on “My Exam History”.
FAQ No. 61. What is the fee for DGCA AME Licence exam?
Fee for AME Licence online Regular examination is Rs. 1500/- per paper and Rs. 3000 for Online On-Demand Examination.
FAQ No. 62. Is the fee paid once can be refundable if examination form is rejected?
The fee is NOT REFUNDABLE in case the examination form is rejected.
FAQ No. 63. What to do, if I forgot my Computer number?
The candidate is required to submit request to CEO through email: help.pariksha.dgca@gov.in & ceo.dgca@nic.in or written application along with necessary documents i.e. Xth mark sheet, XIIth mark sheet, Passport & Aadhaar card no. After the scrutiny of the documents submitted, the same shall be intimated to the candidate to their registered email address.
FAQ No. 64. What is PARTIAL rejection of Computer Number Allotment application?
While scrutinising the application, if one or more fields (excluding basic profile details such as Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar Number, Year of Passing, Total Marks, and Educational Qualifications) are found to be mismatched with the supporting documents uploaded/attached, the application shall be partially rejected and the candidate will be intimated via email.
In such cases, the candidate is required to re-submit the application after correcting only the specific points of rejection. The revised application must be submitted under the same Temporary ID
FAQ No. 65. What is COMPLETE rejection of Computer Number Allotment application?
While scrutinising the application, if it is observed that the candidate has incorrectly filled in basic profile data—such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar Number, Year of Passing, Total Marks, or Educational Qualifications - which do not match the respective supporting documents, the application may be rejected completely. The candidate is accordingly intimated via email
FAQ No. 66. What to do if I am not satisfied with the rejection reason of my application?
Candidate can appeal to CEO in case of non-satisfaction of the provided reasons of the complete rejection of the computer number application by the CEO:
- By sending the appeal through email to ceo.dgca@nic.in or by post to Central Examination Organization (CEO) of DGCA, East Block III, Level III, Rama Krishna Puram, New Delhi110066
- In case the appeal is not addressed as per above point, the candidate, may visit Central Examination Organization (CEO) of DGCA, East Block III, Level III, Rama Krishna Puram, New Delhi-110066 on Tuesday/Thursday from 3PM to 5 PM
FAQ No. 67. What are the steps to Apply for DGCA AME Licence module exams?
- All applicants must register or obtain their Computer number on the https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in website to apply for DGCA AME Licence module exams.
- After obtaining your Computer number,you must login with allocated Computer number as a login ID on https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in.
- Once you login, go to the Examination Form for regular session OR On Demand AME Examination Form for On Demand session available under Examination tab and fill the required details accordingly
